Not a big story in a game in Broadmeadow where 9th ranked Crusaders (2-3) were defeated by seventh ranked Hunters (3-1) 80-70 on Saturday. Naturalized British forward Ryan Beisty (200-1995, college: Regis Univ.) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Myles Cherry (203-1998, college: Lafayette) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Callum Jenkins produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Jacob Cracknell added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Crusaders' coach gave the chance to play for twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hunters moved-up to sixth place in League. Loser Crusaders keep the ninth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
