Undefeated Rip City (1-1) recorded its first loss in Taigum. Visitors were defeated by eleventh ranked Northside Wizards (1-1) 102-94. Northside Wizards players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The former international swingman Anthony Drmic (198-1992, college: Boise St.) nailed 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and naturalized South Sudanese guard Lual Diing (203-1994, college: TxWes) accounted for 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Sudanese forward Kouat Noi (201-1997, college: TCU) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Isaih Tueta (187-1991) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Rip City in the defeat. Five Northside Wizards and four Rip City players scored in double figures. Rip City's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Northside Wizards left bottom position moving up to seventh place in League. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
