No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Canberra Gunners (4-2) won against at home 11th ranked Hills Hornets (2-5) 95-83 on Saturday. William Mayfield fired 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Akech Aliir chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Five Canberra Gunners players scored in double figures. Liam Moss produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized British forward Paul Brotherson (198-1989, college: MSU Denver) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canberra Gunners moved-up to second place in League.
