Regular Season Round 11: NGC Seahawks - SC Phoenix 82-70

Bottom-ranked Sunshine CP (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 82-70 loss to thirteenth ranked Seahawks (2-1) in Runaway Bay. American power forward Erin Riley (180, college: Keiser) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Swingman Katie Deeble (174-2003) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Seahawks players scored in double figures. American forward Tanaya Beacham (185, college: Ohio St.) answered with 18 points and swingman Amy Browne (178-1990) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sunshine CP. Seahawks moved-up to ninth place in League. Sunshine CP at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Seahawks will play against Force (#11) in Booval in the next round.
