There was an upset when higher ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (4-5) lost to eleventh ranked Hills Hornets (3-6) in Narrabeen 88-96 on Saturday. Hills Hornets had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Hills Hornets especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Naturalized British forward Paul Brotherson (198-1989, college: MSU Denver) notched 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and David Hayman supported him with 20 points. Even 21 points and 4 assists by naturalized British V.Islands guard William McFee (191, college: UNB) did not help to save the game for Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Kyle Painter added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hills Hornets maintains eleventh position in League with 3-6 record. Loser Manly Warringah Sea Eagles keep the seventh place with five games lost.
