Not a big story in a game in Wendouree where 21th ranked Tigers (1-6) were defeated by twelfth ranked Ballarat Rush (5-3) 82-70 on Saturday. Ballarat Rush looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Jade Melbourne (176-2002, college: Arizona St.) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Isabella Brancatisano (170-1995) chipped in 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
