Regular Season Round 25: Eastern Suns - Lakeside L. 86-68

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Suns (2-9) defeated 11th ranked Lightning (2-8) in Kalamunda 86-68 on Saturday. American swingman Albert Almanza (198, college: SHSU) nailed 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Robert Huntington (203-1990, college: Nova SE) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Dominic Jackson (203, college: TAMIU) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Donald Vaughn (195-1990, college: VWU) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Lightning in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Suns moved-up to twelfth place in League. Loser Lightning keeps the eleventh position with eight games lost. Suns will meet at home league's second-placed Flames in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lightning will play against Magic (#5) and hope to secure a win.
