State League top team - Rollers (7-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Brisbane Capitals (2-6) 99-88. Rollers made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. The former international guard Tanner Krebs (198-1996, college: St.Mary's, CA) nailed a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winning side and the former international guard Jason Cadee (186-1991) accounted for 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Rollers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Max Mackinnon (196-2003) came up with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Atem Bior (201, college: UTSA) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Brisbane Capitals in the defeat. Despite that victory Rollers went down to second position (League) due to points difference. Loser Brisbane Capitals keep the fourteenth place with six games lost. Rollers will meet at home Roar (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
