Very predictable result when leader Thunder (8-0) won against 9th ranked Seahawks (6-4) in Loganholme 94-78 on Friday. Thunder looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Mikaela Ruef (191-1990, college: Stanford) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 23 rebounds. Forward Danielle Bayes (180-2003) accounted for 30 points for the winning side. American guard Doniyah Cliney (182-1996, college: S.Carolina) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Lauren Jansen (178-1992) added 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for Seahawks in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Thunder maintains first place in League with 8-0 record. Loser Seahawks keep the ninth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
