Rather predictable result when third ranked Cougars (8-6) won against 5th ranked Hume City Broncos (6-8) in Tullamarine 75-59 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Morgan Ili who led the winners and scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Katie Bluzer accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Cougars' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Briana Gray (178, college: Weber St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and Althea Angeles added 12 points respectively for Hume City Broncos in the defeat. Cougars maintains third place in League with 8-6 record having just six point less than leader Logan T. Loser Hume City Broncos keep the fifth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
