There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Force (2-8) outplayed 4th placed Wizards (6-2) in Booval 101-75 on Saturday. Force outrebounded Wizards 44-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Wizards' players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Amanda Cahill (188-1996, college: Indiana, agency: LBM Management) who led the winners and scored 31 points and 7 rebounds. Her fellow American import power forward Brianna Rollerson (185-1994, college: Creighton) accounted for 15 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side. Four Force players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Tiana Mangakahia (168-1995, college: Syracuse) came up with 45 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and Alice ODriscoll added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Wizards in the defeat. Wizards' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Force maintains twelfth place in League with 2-8 record. Loser Wizards keep the fourth position with two games lost. Force will meet Sunshine CP (#13) in the next round. Wizards will have a break next round.
