Very expected game when bottom-ranked Pirates (0-11) lost to eighth ranked Cyclones (6-6) in Runcorn 87-94 on Friday. Cyclones dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pirates' 34 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Pirates 45-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for center Lara McSpadden (193-1999) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists.
