Regular Season Round 31: Hume City B. - Wyndham D. 115-106

There was a minor upset in Tullamarine where much higher ranked Devils (12-3) were defeated by fourth ranked Hume City Broncos (9-7) 115-106 on Saturday. Hume City Broncos dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Devils' 56. Naturalized South Sudanese forward Makuei Puondak (203-1994, college: UT Southern) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Anthony Dell Orso chipped in 29 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Hume City Broncos' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Kavione Green (195, college: Bloomfield) produced 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and forward Manel Ayol (201, college: Hawaii) added 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hume City Broncos maintains fourth place in League with 9-7 record. Loser Devils keep the second position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
