An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in McKinnon. Second ranked Devils faced 3rd ranked Cougars. Guests from Werribee (14-3) defeated host Cougars (11-7) 68-64. It was a good game for American guard Amanda Paschal (170-1996, college: Kentucky) who led her team to a victory with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import swingman Lauren Jones (178-2003, college: Austin Peay) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Paschal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Morgan Ili replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and center Rosie Fadljevic (183-1993) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Cougars. Devils keep a position of League leader. Cougars at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
