Regular Season Round 35: Ipswich F. - Rockhampton 90-60

There was a small surprise in Booval where eleventh ranked Force (6-10) outscored 9th ranked Cyclones (8-10) 90-60 on Sunday. Force forced 20 Cyclones turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Cyclones' players. The best player for the winners was American power forward Brianna Rollerson (185-1994, college: Creighton) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Amanda Cahill (188-1996, college: Indiana, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Five Force players scored in double figures. Center Lara McSpadden (193-1999) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian swingman Madison Torresin (183-1996, college: W.Chester) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Force maintains eleventh place in League with 6-10 record. Loser Cyclones keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Force will meet higher ranked Rip City (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cyclones will have a break next round.
