The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Huskies (15-5) on the court of fourth ranked Bendigo Braves on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Bendigo Braves 85-78. Bendigo Braves forced 22 Huskies turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Sidy Djitte (208-1994, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized South Sudanese guard Kuany Kuany (201-1994, college: Chaminade) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Harrison Froling (211-1998, college: Marquette) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and forward Jarred Bairstow (201-1992, college: UCO) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Huskies. Five Bendigo Braves and four Huskies players scored in double figures. Bendigo Braves (12-6) moved-up to third place in League. Huskies at the other side still keep top position with five games lost. Bendigo Braves are looking forward to face league's second-placed Mount Gambier Pioneers in Mt Gambier in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Huskies will play at home against Waverley Falcons and are hoping to win this game.
