No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (11-7) beat 11th ranked Crusaders (6-12) in Terrigal 89-82 on Sunday. Norths Soul Sports Bears made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game. The winners were led by guard Ignatius Mitchell (185-2003) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Patrick Sanders (201-1985, college: UC Irvine) supported him with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Norths Soul Sports Bears players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 28 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by forward James Trustum (192) did not help to save the game for Crusaders. Forward Callum Jenkins added 21 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Crusaders' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Norths Soul Sports Bears moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Crusaders keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Norths Soul Sports Bears will meet Hills Hornets (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Crusaders will play against Bankstown Bruins in Condell Park and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
