Very predictable result in Hamilton Hill where fifth ranked Cougars (13-7) outscored 14th ranked Slammers (2-18) 124-105 on Saturday. Cougars looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cougars made 11 blocks. Swingman Gavin Field (202-1989, college: UWG) stepped up and scored 39 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Josh Hunt (194-2002) chipped in 28 points and 5 rebounds. Five Cougars players scored in double figures. American swingman Buay Tuach (198-1995, college: LMU, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and Caleb Van De Griend produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds.
