There was an upset in Runaway Bay where higher ranked Brisbane Capitals (8-9) were defeated by fifteenth ranked Seahawks (5-13) 92-76 on Saturday. Seahawks had a 39-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international guard Alexander Mudronja (196-1999, college: St.Mary's, CA) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and guard Aiden Krause (193-2000, college: UC Irvine) chipped in 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Point guard Lachlan Dent (184-2000) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Atem Bior (201, college: UTSA) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Seahawks and four Brisbane Capitals players scored in double figures. Seahawks moved-up to fourteenth place in League.
