His fellow American import Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) contributed with 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five New Zealand Breakers players scored in double figures. American Milton Doyle (193-1993, college: Loyola, IL) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Jack McVeigh (203-1996, college: Nebraska) added 11 points in the effort for JackJumpers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. New Zealand Breakers have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Sydney. JackJumpers at the other side keep the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Melbourne.
