Regular Season Round 11: Adelaide - Brisbane 108-77
Date: December 17, 2022
No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Adelaide 36ers (8-7) crushed 9th ranked Bullets (4-11) in Findon 108-77 on Saturday. Adelaide 36ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Adelaide 36ers made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Robert Franks (201-1996, college: WSU) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Antonius Cleveland (196-1994, college: SEMO) accounted for 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Adelaide 36ers players scored in double figures. The former international guard Jason Cadee (186-1991) came up with 18 points and the former international center Aron Baynes (208-1986, college: WSU) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Bullets in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Adelaide 36ers moved-up to fifth place. Bullets lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. Adelaide 36ers will meet at home higher ranked Melbourne Phoenix (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bullets will play against the league's second-placed New Zealand Breakers (#2) and hope to secure a win.
