The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Perth Wildcats' (12-10) home victory over 8th ranked Adelaide 36ers (11-12) 112-97 on Saturday. Perth Wildcats made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. Perth Wildcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward Brady Manek (206-1998, college: UNC) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Bryce Cotton (182-1992, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was guard Antonius Cleveland (196-1994, college: SEMO) who recorded 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Robert Franks (201-1996, college: WSU) added 25 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Perth Wildcats moved-up to sixth place.
