The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Kings (19-9) in Findon on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by eighth ranked Adelaide 36ers (13-15) 115-108. Adelaide 36ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. American guard Antonius Cleveland (196-1994, college: SEMO) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Robert Franks (201-1996, college: WSU) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Brazilian-American center Tim Soares (211-1997, college: Master's) with 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American Justin Simon (196-1996, college: St.John's) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Adelaide 36ers and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Adelaide 36ers maintains eighth position with 13-15 record. Defending champion Kings still keep top place with nine games lost.
