Falcons used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Narrabeen 77-41 on Saturday night. Falcons outrebounded Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 43-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Forward Myles Cherry (203-1998, college: Lafayette) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Tom Dawson (197) supported him with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by Stefan Valkovic did not help to save the game for Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Mitchell Evans added 14 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falcons will meet at home Canberra Gunners in the next round. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will play against Crusaders and hope to win that game.
