Not a big story in a game in Western Port where bottom-ranked Steelers (0-4) were outplayed by fifth ranked Devils (3-1) 112-76 on Sunday. Devils looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Maurice Howard (185-1997, college: Alcorn St., agency: Green Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 4 assists and guard Oskar Jones who added 32 points during the contest. Worth to mention Howard played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. At the losing side American guard Scott Stone (193-1995, college: St.Cloud St.) responded with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Jack Gaze scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Steelers players scored in double figures. Steelers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Devils have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Steelers still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams.
