There was an upset in Booval where higher ranked Force (1-3) was outplayed by fifteenth ranked Flames (2-4) 100-80 on Friday. Flames made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Stephanie Reid (168-1996, college: Buffalo) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 assists and guard Kate Gaze (173-1990, college: St.Mary's, CA) who added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Alison Gorrell (178-1993, college: FAU) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Meg Essex (190-1996) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Force players scored in double figures. Force's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Flames moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams.
