Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Cougars (3-4) rolled over bottom-ranked Steelers (0-6) in McKinnon 115-83 on Saturday. Cougars dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Steelers' 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. American players dominated the game. Guard Sharif Black (185-1996, college: Bemidji St.) notched 27 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and guard Nathan Davis (193-1998, college: Seton Hill) supported him with 26 points. Four Cougars players scored in double figures. Even 31 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by guard Scott Stone (193-1995, college: St.Cloud St.) did not help to save the game for Steelers. Center Russell Permenter (203-1988, college: Providence) added 14 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Steelers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Cougars moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Steelers still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Southern T.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
