Rather predictable result in Bulleen where second ranked Boomers (7-1) defeated 4th placed Cougars (4-4) 63-54 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Maxine Allan who scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Olivia Bontempelli (179-1993) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. American forward Briana Gray (178, college: Weber St.) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Emily Suckling (168, college: California, PA) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
