Important game to mention about took place in Perth. Fourth ranked Hawks (7-3) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Senators (4-3) 84-83 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Senators. Hawks players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for forward Emma Clarke (186-2000, college: Colorado) who saved her team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Ashleigh Isenbarger (188-1997) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Five Hawks players scored in double figures. American forward Karly Murphy (185-1998, college: Colorado St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and guard Stacey Barr (173-1992, college: Idaho) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Senators. Senators' coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hawks have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Southern T. Senators at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Hawks will play against Suns (#8) in Kalamunda in the next round where they are favorite. Senators will play at home against the league's leader Wanneroo and hope to get back on the winning track.
