Everything went according to plan in Terrigal where tenth ranked Falcons (5-4) outscored 12th ranked Crusaders (3-7) 99-74 on Saturday. Falcons shot 63.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Falcons looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Naturalized British forward Ryan Beisty (200-1995, college: Regis Univ.) fired 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) for the winners. Forward Myles Cherry (203-1998, college: Lafayette) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Falcons players scored in double figures. Guard Luke Cassidy (-2000) produced 23 points and 4 assists and center Aaron Redhead (-1998) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falcons moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Crusaders lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Eastern M. and Lakeside L.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
