There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Warriors (3-7) were defeated at home by eighth ranked Jets (1-8) 58-54 on Saturday. Jets had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Chloe Hildebrand who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Swedish guard Ida Andersson (173-1996, college: Barry) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Haille Nickerson (170, college: Memorial) with 23 points and 9 rebounds and Ebony Sans scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Jets left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Hume City B. Loser Warriors keep the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Canberra N. and Lakeside L.. Jets will meet league's second-placed Boomers in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Warriors will play against Cougars (#4) in McKinnon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
