There was a minor upset in Cotton Tree where 5th ranked Northside Wizards (5-3) were crushed by eighth ranked Phoenix (4-3) 91-68 on Saturday. Phoenix outrebounded Northside Wizards 46-30 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Jamaal Robateau (196-1994, college: Gardner-Webb) fired 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized New Zealand Jonathan Janssen (205-1995, college: HPU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Phoenix's coach Brad Chalmers felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lual Diing (205-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and American swingman Andrew White III (200-1993, college: Syracuse) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Phoenix and five Northside Wizards players scored in double figures. Phoenix maintains eighth position with 4-3 record. Loser Northside Wizards keep the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Warwick S.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
