The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Wizards as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Wizards defeated 12th ranked Force in Taigum 110-94. Wizards made 31-of-31 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 24 Force turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Courtney Woods (183-1997, college: NIU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 13 assists and 5 steals (made all of her ten free throws !!!). Amanda Johnson contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Wizards players scored in double figures. American guard Alison Gorrell (178-1993, college: FAU) answered with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import power forward Maria Blazejewski (185-1991, college: LSSU) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Force. Wizards (9-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Force at the other side dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. They share the position with Kalamunda ES. Force will play next round against Thunder trying to get back on the winning streak. Wizards will try to continue on its current victory against fifteenth ranked Sunshine CP at Cotton Tree.
