There was no surprise in Eltham where 19th ranked Cavaliers (2-12) were defeated by seventh ranked Wildcats (8-5) 81-67 on Saturday. Wildcats dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Cavaliers' 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was center Rebecca Pizzey (190-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. American swingman Hailey Leidel (180-1997, college: UMass) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Wildcats players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Rachel Bell (178, college: Vanderbilt) who recorded 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Taylah Simmons (185-1997, college: Southeastern) added 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Wildcats. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Perry Lakes H. Cavaliers lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Hills H.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
