Very predictable result when first ranked Frankston Blues (11-3) won against 11th ranked NW Tasmania Thunder (6-8) in Ulverstone 76-69 on Saturday. Forward Daniel Trist (206-1992, college: Lafayette) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 20 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international swingman Brad Newley (198-1985) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Frankston Blues players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds by American swingman Sekou Sylla (196, college: Towson) did not help to save the game for NW Tasmania Thunder. Swingman Joe Chilcott (193-1996) added 16 points for lost side. NW Tasmania Thunder's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
