Not a big story in a game in Runaway Bay where bottom-ranked Roar (0-11) was rolled over by tenth ranked Seahawks (6-5) 93-74 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Erin Riley (180, college: Keiser) who scored 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Emma Gandini (172-1994) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Donica Cosby (172-1988, college: Okla City) who recorded 26 points and 8 rebounds and guard Lilly Rotunno (170-2004) added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Four Roar players scored in double figures. Roar's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Seahawks moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Cairns D. Roar lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. They share the position with SW Slammers. Seahawks will meet at home league's second-placed Salties in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roar will play against Pirates (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
