Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked Ringwood Hawks (4-10) lost to twelfth ranked Chargers (7-7) in Hobart 80-93 on Saturday. Forward Jacob Richards (200-2001) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international swingman Sam McDaniel (198-1995, college: ULM) supported him with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American forward Kyle Daggett (198-1999, college: Shepherd) did not help to save the game for Ringwood Hawks. His fellow American import guard Jonathan Lawton (188-1996, college: FSC, agency: IceBasket) added 14 points and 4 assists for lost side. Five Chargers and four Ringwood Hawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chargers moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Ringwood Hawks lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost.
