Very expected game in Wendouree where 18th ranked Ballarat Miners (3-11) were crushed by thirteenth ranked Sabres (6-8) 74-51 on Saturday. Sabres dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ballarat Miners' 24. They outrebounded Ballarat Miners 48-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Brittany Smart (177-1985, college: Cedarville) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds.
