There was an upset in Dandenong where higher ranked Frankston Blues (12-5) were defeated by eleventh ranked Rangers (9-9) 78-72 on Saturday. Rangers outrebounded Frankston Blues 39-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American power forward Sarah Boothe (195-1990, college: Stanford) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Nyadiew Puoch (189-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
