Very important is a home loss of second ranked Frankston Blues (13-6) against fifteenth ranked Kilsyth Cobras (8-11) on Sunday night. Host Frankston Blues were defeated by Kilsyth Cobras in a tough game in Seaford 90-98. Strangely Frankston Blues outrebounded Kilsyth Cobras 43-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Guard Adrian Tomada (-1995) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side and American forward Christopher Galbreath (201-1995, college: SHSU) accounted for 26 points and 6 rebounds. Four Kilsyth Cobras players scored in double figures. Forward Daniel Trist (206-1992, college: Lafayette) came up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Lucas Barker (183-1993, college: Indianapolis) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for Frankston Blues in the defeat. Kilsyth Cobras moved-up to fourteenth place. Frankston Blues lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Sandringham S. and Sutherland S.. Kilsyth Cobras will play against higher ranked Tigers (#12) in Melbourne in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Frankston Blues will have a break next round.
