Not a big story in a game in Mt Gambier where 11th ranked Rangers (9-10) were outplayed by fourth ranked Mount Gambier Pioneers (13-5) 92-59 on Sunday. Mount Gambier Pioneers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rangers' 34. Mount Gambier Pioneers forced 24 Rangers turnovers. Mount Gambier Pioneers moved-up to third place, which they share with Geelong LS. Loser Rangers dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Diamond VE. Mount Gambier Pioneers will meet Tornadoes (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Rangers will play against Knox Raiders (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
