We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Hobart where 15th ranked Chargers (7-14) were defeated by sixteenth ranked Thunder (6-14) 72-62 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Japanese center Kadysha Umezawa (190-1998) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and American guard Anna Clephane (178, college: Ball St.) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Kayla Steindl (190-1989, college: Gonzaga) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Paige Bradley (178-1994, college: Denver) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Thunder moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Cent.Coast C. Chargers lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 14 games lost. Thunder will meet Cavaliers (#18) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chargers will play against Tornadoes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
