Not a big story in a game in Brisbane where 16th ranked Roar (1-16) was outplayed by seventh ranked Rollers (10-7) 93-73 on Saturday. Rollers dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Roar's 34. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Ariana Moorer (172-1991, college: Virginia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Catherine Reese who added 29 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Rollers players scored in double figures. American guard Donica Cosby (172-1988, college: Okla City) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and her fellow American import center Angela Beadle (190-1993, college: SHSU) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Roar's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Rollers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with W.Adelaide B. Loser Roar dropped to the tenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with C.Districts L.. Rollers will meet at home league's second-placed Thunder in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Roar will play against Meteorettes (#15) in Mackay and hope to win that game.
