Not a big story in a game in Penrith where 15th ranked Panthers (3-17) were defeated by third ranked Mustangs (14-7) 101-95 on Sunday. Mustangs made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Panthers turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Matt Gray (203-1999) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Will Cranston-Lown (185-2000, college: Regis Univ.) who added 27 points and 5 assists during the contest. Mustangs' coach Luke Boyle used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Five Mustangs and four Panthers players scored in double figures. Mustangs have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Despite that victory Mustangs went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with Sandringham S. and Sutherland S. Panthers lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 17 games lost. Mustangs will meet Falcons (#8) in the next round. Panthers will play against Norths Soul Sports Bears (#4) and hope to secure a win.
