Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Rangers (11-11) defeated 18th ranked Cavaliers (3-19) in Cranbourne 87-76 on Saturday. American players dominated the game. Guard Amber Smith (180-1998, college: Missouri) nailed a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Sarah Boothe (195-1990, college: Stanford) accounted for 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Rachel Bell (178, college: Vanderbilt) came up with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Lauren Van Kleunen (188, college: Marquette) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Cavaliers in the defeat. Rangers moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Diamond VE. Cavaliers lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighteenth position with 19 games lost. They share it with Ballarat M..
