Rather predictable result when third ranked Suns (11-6) rolled over on the road 5th ranked Warriors (6-12) 94-72 on Saturday. Suns forced 19 Warriors turnovers. American Porsche Poole (175-1989, college: Michigan St.) nailed 37 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and New Zealand forward Alicia Carline (190-1993, college: Portland St.) accounted for 16 points and 16 rebounds. Poole is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Suns players scored in double figures. American guard Samantha Romanowski (175-1996, college: Denver) came up with 17 points and Canadian guard Haille Nickerson (170, college: Memorial) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for Warriors in the defeat. Warriors' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Suns maintains third place with 11-6 record having fourteen points less than leader Wyndham D. Warriors lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Ipswich F.. Suns will meet league's second-placed Boomers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Warriors will play against Camberwell in Melbourne and hope to secure a win.
