There was a small surprise in Cranbourne where eighteenth ranked Cavaliers (3-18) outscored 15th ranked Thunder (8-13) 98-63 on Sunday. Cavaliers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Thunder's players. The best player for the winners was swingman Blake Taylor (191-2001) who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Senegalese center Sidy Djitte (208-1994, college: Clemson, agency: Helping Ballers) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Cavaliers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Oliver Hayes-Brown (208-2000, college: UC Riverside) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Robbie Heath (190-1998, college: Pepperdine) added 20 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Cavaliers went down to nineteenth position due to points difference. Loser Thunder dropped to the ninth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Kalamunda ES. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
