There was a minor upset in Albury where 5th ranked Mustangs (14-8) were defeated by seventh ranked Lady Bandits (12-10) 71-67 on Saturday. American guard Mikayla Pivec (178-1997, college: Oregon St.) fired a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Guard Emma Mahady (179-1992, college: California, PA) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Sydney Hunter (183-1999, college: San Diego) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and forward Shakera Reilly (178-1999) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mustangs' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Lady Bandits went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with Eltham W. Loser Mustangs dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost.
