Date: October 12, 2023
JackJumpers (3-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Hawks (1-3) in Hobart 103-73. JackJumpers players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a quality performance for American Milton Doyle (193-1993, college: Loyola, IL) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Jordon Crawford (168-1990, college: BGSU, agency: Slash Sports) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Five JackJumpers players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Samson Froling (212-2000, college: Creighton) came up with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American Gary Clark (198-1994, college: Cincinnati) added 16 points respectively for Hawks in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JackJumpers will play against Kings in Sydney in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hawks will play at home against United (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
