No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Adelaide 36ers (3-5) beat bottom-ranked New Zealand Breakers (1-4) in Auckland 97-85 on Thursday. Adelaide 36ers made 27-of-29 free shots (93.1 percent) during the game. Adelaide 36ers outrebounded New Zealand Breakers 38-22 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Adelaide 36ers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The former international guard Dejan Vasiljevic (190-1997, college: Miami, FL) nailed 24 points and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international center Isaac Humphries (216-1998, college: Kentucky) accounted for 17 points and 11 rebounds.
